Man-to-Man Defense

We have been gradually adjusting to the Man-to-Man Defense and every once in awhile one of our players escapes the Man-to-Man. Tyler is the biggest player that escapes since he can walk. Anna at this point is pretty easy to defend. At times Rob thinks I am watching Tyler and I think he is watching Tyler and is off in his old world luckily not getting into too big of trouble just yet.  It does become quite the challenge at times when I am flying solo and both kids need something at the same time, but I am learning different strategies along the way.  Tyler seems to have adjusted and continues smothering his sister with kisses. He doesn't always understand though that she can't "play" with him. A few times now Anna has taken a ball in the face. I guess she better get use to some rough play having an older brother in the house.

Anna was peacefully sound asleep and as I am capturing some pictures Tyler was throwing a ball at his sister.. the funny thing is that I captured the ball in the picture below. You can tell our little girl was not happy.

Anna took her first trip to Burlington last weekend and all went well, but as it was time to go, we packed up the car, Tyler was in his car seat, we were saying our final good-bye's when Ed says to us "Hey do you want to take your other kid?" referring to poor Miss Anna sitting patiently in her car seat. Let's just say it might be lack of sleep or that we are still in the transition mode :)

Anna has had more visitors and continues to get spoiled. Tyler has received many bonuses with his promotion to big brother as well. He recently received a toolbox from Uncle Ed. Thanks to everyone for being so generous. We went from a pretty bare closet of girl clothes to a nicer wardrobe than myself.

My time is up...until next time!
