Tyler has been having a really hard time keeping this secret. Rob and I are once again BLESSED with a miracle that much to our surprise happened quite naturally! You always hear of those stories that couples who struggle with infertility do not have problems thereafter and we just didn’t think that couple could be us, but we are very glad that “we beat the odds” and landed on the jackpot. We know it's going to be a lot of work (yes 2 in diapers), lots of exhaustion, but we are so excited to be expanding our family. It’s hard to believe after all that we have endured with Tyler that we could skip all the specialist appointments, keep our money in our pockets and not be so stressed about it- what a very different experience in a good way! It's about time our family catches a break.
Baby Brenton #2 is planning on making an appearance approximately June 4, 2011, which means if the baby is exactly on his/her due date, he will share a birthday with my brother Steve. If it’s a boy and lands on “Uncle Stevie’s” birthday, he is already negotiating to try and have the middle name Steven. There are a lot of special occasions in May and June so there is a good chance this baby will share some type of day with someone. May 7th kicks us off with my nephew Alex’s birthday; May 18th is my parents anniversary; May 22nd is my niece Hailey’s birthday, May 26th is my birthday, June 1st is nephew Logan's birthday, June 4th is Steve’s birthday, June 5th is Ed’s birthday and June 9th would have been my grandpa’s birthday. The baby pool this time around could get interesting!
So far things have been going well and it’s nice to be over the first trimester hump. This pregnancy has been similar to Tyler’s, but I haven’t had the luxury of naps like I did with him so I seem MUCH more exhausted and have been a little more nausea this time around, but nothing I can’t handle.
Tyler is excited..(he almost tried to eat the pea stick when we showed him the news)... little does he know he will have to share the attention this June!
Our families are of course excited… Grandma Ellen showed off her excitement when she showed up to babysit Tyler and brought us four little pumpkins.
As you can tell we are very excited as we already have his or her stocking hung!
Just when you thought your life could not get any busier… it’s a good busy though:) And our story continues………..
yea!!!!!! We are soo excited for you guys! So happy that this time around was more "fun". Mason says that he is happy to have another play mate come June...he just expressed such joy with a little "present" for us! Again...we are sooo excited! Hope that these coming months go great and Tyler lets you get a little nap in every once in awhile!
