The Brenton Miracle: Curious George

Tyler has been growing like a sprout right before our eyes. We had his 4 month doctor appointment last week which overall went well. He is 13 lbs 10 oz
(25th %)which appears to be on the lower end of the chart for the 4 month mark. It's nothing alarming, but the doctor is having Tyler checked at 5 months just for a weight check to make sure he is gaining properly. Tyler had hopefully his last EEG this past week as well- we discuss those results in a few weeks with his pediatric neurologist (I am hoping to "graduate" Tyler from that doctor at the next visit since everything has been normal since he has been completely removed from the anti-seizure meds). March seems to be the month of follow-up appointments for Tyler. He also has an appointment with a specialist to look at his flat spot on the back of his head which will probably result in a helmet :( This poor boy has seen more specialists in such a short time, but the good news is that he won’t remember all of this.. it’s just a lot of chasing for me, but he is all worth it!!!

The older Tyler gets the more and more fun he is becoming. He is grabbing on to things, tries to hold the bottle, is beginning to roll and squirm all the over the place. We love the little personality he is gaining and my new nickname for him is “Curious George” because he always wants to see who is the room and check out what is going on. He gets distracted quite easily too while eating because he doesn’t want to miss a thing (I wonder where he gets that from?).
