The night of Tyler's Birthday we decided to take down the side rail of his "jail cell" and let him go free!! He had been climbing out of the crib so it was a matter or time. He has done really good at night where he doesn't get out of bed after we put him there, but nap time has been a struggle. Today we have made progress....:) It is funny to watch him in the baby monitor. He thinks we think he is napping, but little does he know we are watching. He also had a habit to sleeping on one side of the crib (as you can tell from the picture). Many of the mornings he wakes up on the ground- we don't hear a noise at night so not sure how it happens but we are working on getting him a side rail- the one I originally bought was too long. Live and learn :)
Tyler's cousin Alex is being potty-trained so Tyler has had more of an interest lately. He pulls down his pants and goes to the bathroom, so a few times I have put him on the toilet to see what he does. He just likes to sit on it. He doesn't actually go, but rather tells us after the fact....at least he can now tell me when I need to change his diaper. We are NOT tackling this potty-training just yet....
